Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cash application processes.
• Practical experience in accounts receivable operations.
• Proficiency in bank account reconciliation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger impact.
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with onshore and offshore team members.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate payment and reconciliation activities.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments accurately to the appropriate accounts using established cash application procedures.
• Post cash receipts and related transactions in the accounting system in a timely and precise manner.
• Reconcile bank accounts regularly and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and verify data accuracy for cash application and accounts receivable activities.
• Utilize Excel tools to analyze payment data and support reconciliation.
• Collaborate with AR team to resolve payment issues and unapplied cash.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure consistent processes.
• Maintain organized records for audits and reporting requirements.
• Follow established accounting policies to support accurate reporting.
