Citi is seeking a Capital Markets Technology Business Analyst - AVP to join our team in Pune, India, with hybrid work options. The role requires 7–10 years of BA experience in financial services, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, CS, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
- Solid understanding of capital markets products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in requirements tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering with business and operations stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and flows.
- Analyze current systems and design solutions aligned to business needs.
- Facilitate effective communication between business users and developers.
- Support QA, define test strategies, and assist UAT.
- Participate in SDLC lifecycle from concept to deployment.
- Investigate production issues and collaborate on root cause fixes.
- Stay informed on market trends and derivatives-related changes.
