Job summary

Nexamp, based in Boston with a hybrid work approach in Chicago and Boston, seeks a Capital Markets Associate to drive financing transactions for DG and utility-scale projects. You will model debt and tax equity, coordinate across teams, and support portfolio-level financing initiatives.

Qualifications include a Finance/Accounting/Econ degree and 3+ years in project finance or related fields, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
3+ years of experience in project finance, capital markets, investment banking, renewable energy finance, or related field.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise; ability to build, modify, review, and audit complex models.

Responsibilities

Lead development and review of complex project- and portfolio-level financial models for DG and utility-scale projects.
Model debt, tax equity, tax credit transfer, and other structured financing options.
Lead workstreams in structuring, negotiating, and executing financing transactions under senior leadership, ensuring on-schedule closings.
Own transaction execution plans, closing checklists, and deliverable tracking with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare transaction presentations, financing summaries, investment memoranda, and executive summaries for committees and counterparties.
Manage lender and investor reporting, covenant compliance, and coordination with financing counterparties.
