Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Fields: Biological Sciences or Mortuary Science.
• Experience working with cadavers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all cleaning and maintenance needs in the laboratory space to ensure compliance with NYIT and ASU Laboratories.
• Maintain anatomy lab, including cleaning of laboratory space and equipment.
• Establish and supervise the Anatomical Gift Program. Meet with potential donors and families of donors for the Anatomical Gift Program.
• Maintain human anatomical specimens (cadavers).
• Create and maintain inventories of all lab supplies and ensure timely reordering.
• Maintain all cadaver records.
• Communicate routinely with campus biosafety officer to ensure lab compliance with all safety regulations.
• Coordinate and oversee community outreach activities involving the lab.
• Assist faculty with oversight of lab sessions.
• Perform formaldehyde safety training and monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee and maintain student attendance records for anatomy courses.
