Job summary

Lodge Cast Iron seeks a Buyer Planner to ensure timely material availability and optimized inventory for production. You will manage purchasing execution and planning, coordinating with production, operations, engineering, and customer service while using data to support decisions.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing supply chain, strong Excel skills, and ERP/MRP experience. On-site 3 days a week with 2 remote days, located in South Pittsburg, TN, with strong team collaboration and

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years in purchasing, planning, inventory control, or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, and dashboard reporting.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory levels, usage trends, and demand to ensure material availability.
• Create and manage purchase orders to support production schedules and inventory targets.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, lead times, and open orders to prevent material shortages.
• Maintain planning parameters within the Excel/ERP/MRP system.
• Develop and maintain inventory, purchasing, and supplier performance reports.
• Track and report key supply chain metrics such as inventory levels and shortages.
