Ingersoll Rand, Blandon, PA, is seeking a Buyer to manage inventory levels and purchase orders in a hybrid environment. You will coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, Customer Service, Distribution, Product Management, Accounting, and Vendors to ensure on-time delivery and optimal costs.

The role emphasizes daily replenishment planning, supplier coordination, and data-driven decision making to maintain service levels while reducing total cost.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in inventory management, purchasing, or production planning can substitute for degree.
• 1+ years of ERP systems knowledge required.

Responsabilités

• Manage inventory/service level fill rates by maintaining stock levels (on hand, safety stock, open PO's, transfers).
• Prepare and issue purchase orders per policy.
• Confirm PO information (price, delivery date, quantity, UoM).
• Update delivery dates in real time with Order Acknowledgements.
• Expedite POs with departments and suppliers to ensure material availability.
• Ensure purchased products meet required specifications.
• Maintain and update planning/MRP and pricing data in ERP systems.
• Support product life cycle issues to ensure availability and reduce obsolete inventory.
