Job summary

The State Bar of Michigan is seeking a Business Analyst & Software Developer to translate organizational requirements into scalable technical solutions and to design and develop software applications across the full software development lifecycle.

You will collaborate closely with product owners, QA, UX and operations teams to deliver high-impact systems, provide end-user support, and continuously optimize systems while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in software development and business analysis.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with clear, confident communication.

Responsibilities

Translate organizational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Design and develop software applications across the full SDLC.
Collaborate with product owners, QA, UX, and operations teams to deliver cohesive systems.
Build, test, and deploy applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Implement RESTful APIs and manage complex system integrations.
Perform data modeling, write SQL queries, and generate insights for decisions.
Assist in test planning, execute unit testing, and support UAT.
Create and maintain technical designs, release notes, and user guides.
