Job summary
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Provider Data Management initiatives in the greater Baltimore area. The role collaborates with stakeholders, documents requirements, analyzes processes, and supports Salesforce and provider data projects in a hybrid work environment.
The analyst will assist with user stories, acceptance criteria, and test planning, while helping ensure solutions align with business objectives and enable continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business/IT/CS or equivalent; additional work experience may be required.
- Minimum 3 years experience in functional, operational, business, data, systems or testing analysis.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements for Salesforce and Provider Data initiatives.
- Document user stories, business processes, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and QA activities; support backlog refinement and design discussions.
- Investigate production issues and coordinate root-cause analysis with teams.
- Prepare and maintain business documentation including requirements, process maps, and job aids.
- Support Agile ceremonies and track work, risks, and deliverables.
