Aquent Talent is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst for a critical contract role to drive automation of document intake and processing in a leading financial services environment.

The role requires collaboration with Product Managers and Product Owners to translate business needs into actionable requirements and user stories, with exposure to AI-enabled document processing technologies and a strong emphasis on operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Technology or Operations.
• Experience with agile epics, user stories, and business rules.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence or equivalents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across business and technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and prioritization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably technical or business-related.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end requirements for enrichment and automation of document processing.
• Document OCR data extraction and ML model data payloads from diverse documents.
• Support AI-enabled document workflows, activation strategies, and success criteria.
• Specify data payloads, middleware, and back-end integrations for UI and downstream systems.
• Translate complex business needs into developer-ready user stories for cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Scrum teams during backlog refinement and sprints.
• Coordinate development, testing, and deployment with technology partners; provide post-deployment support.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams to drive process transformation.
