The California Air Resources Board (CARB) seeks a Budget Analyst to support fiscal planning, budget development, forecasting, and expenditure monitoring within the Fiscal Services Division’s Budget Branch. Under direction of a Supervisor I, the analyst analyzes financial data, prepares reports, and ensures adherence to state budget policies and procedures while promoting accurate financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience in fiscal management including budget development, forecasting, and oversight and monitoring of division allotments and expenditures to ensure fiscal accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to applicable budget policies and procedures.
• Support program budget analysis and fiscal reporting activities within Program Support Unit B.
• Contribute to the goals of the Section by promoting accurate financial oversight and compliance.
