Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures in Minnesota seeks a Title 31 Compliance Specialist to ensure BSA/AML regulatory compliance across casino operations. You will monitor transactions, perform CDD/KYC, investigate SOI, and prepare CTRs/SARs for FinCEN.

The role requires meticulous record-keeping, collaboration with finance and operations, and participation in audits. A high school diploma and at least 2 years in finance or casino operations are expected; gaming authority licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in finance, accounting, business admin, or 5 years in casino ops.
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and best practices.
• Must secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).

Responsibilities

• Examine transactions for CTR/SAR compliance and reporting.
• Identify transactions requiring FinCEN reporting.
• Maintain detailed transaction records for audits.
• Ensure CTRs and SARs are properly filed and retained.
• Monitor casino activity for money-laundering or fraud indicators.
• Investigate flagged transactions to assess legitimacy.
• Prepare SARs for upper management to file with FinCEN.
• Collect and verify customer information for CDD compliance.
• Monitor relationships for enhanced due diligence needs.
• Maintain updated customer records for KYC/CDD.
• Use KYC procedures to verify casino patrons’ identities.
• Review IDs, passports, and W9s for accuracy.
• Onboard and monitor customers in accordance with KYC.
• Investigate and analyze sources of funds in significant transactions.
• Review bank records to verify income sources.
• Report discrepancies or red flags related to funds.
• Collaborate with finance and operations on BSA/AML policies.
• Work with others on projects and daily audits as needed.
• Communicate findings to Title 31 Compliance Officer.
• Participate in audits, examinations, and reviews related to BSA/AML.
• Perform other duties to support the team.
