GEICO in Richardson, TX is seeking a Casualty Claims Examiner for a hybrid role, combining in-office collaboration with remote work. Core hours align with CST, with 3 days in the office each week after orientation, supporting a busy auto claims team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Bodily Injury claims handling on private passenger automotive liability, an active Adjuster license, and excellent customer service and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of Bodily Injury claims handling.
• Active Adjuster license required at hire.
• Experience with private passenger automotive liability claims.
• Excellent communication and professional skills.
• Knowledge of Insurance Code guidelines and Regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to policyholders and guide them through the claims process.
• Assure coverage and policy provisions before payments.
• Investigate claims to determine liability and responsibility.
• Identify fraud indicators and escalate as appropriate.
• Evaluate damages and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Adjust reserves for new and existing claims.
