Job summary

InPwr, Inc. is seeking a BIM Modeler to join our team in a hybrid role. The position requires AutoCAD and BIM software proficiency and 2+ years in CAD Electrical design or related fields.

The candidate will collaborate with engineers, design-build teams, and project managers to produce permit and construction drawings. The role mixes in-office work two days per week with remote work three days. Industry knowledge in lighting and electrical design is a plus, with opportunities for growth and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CAD Electrical design or electrical construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, SKM.
• Ability to work in an office environment.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
• Experience with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Design for permit and for construction drawings using CAD tools.
• Develop accurate designs compliant with contract scope and standards.
• Review supplier drawings and integrate into design to meet NEC clearance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and field teams on installation details.
• Set up CAD operation systems and contribute to SOP development.
• Prepare as-built drawings from field redline markups and obtain approvals.
