Job summary

HMC Architects in Sacramento, CA is seeking a BIM Manager to lead BIM strategy across project teams and studios. You will establish standards, oversee digital assets, and mentor staff while driving data-driven design and technology initiatives.

We require 5–8 years in the AEC industry, expert Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit API knowledge, and strong leadership and training skills. This role offers hybrid work with the opportunity to influence design outcomes across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years in the AEC industry with knowledge across planning to close-out.
• Expert-level knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Support BIM execution planning at project kickoff and milestones.
• Maintain BIM standards and workflows and ensure model quality.
• Mentor Project BIM Leads and guide team on LOD/LoD deliverables.
• Lead quality control reviews and regular model audits.
• Coordinate with consultants for interoperable models.
• Develop and maintain digital assets and content libraries.
• Champion firm-wide BIM applications and data-rich models.
• Deliver training from Revit fundamentals to advanced workflows.
• Pilot new technologies and processes with project teams.
