Job summary

Washington State Housing Finance Commission seeks a full-time Business Intelligence Specialist in Seattle to design, implement, and maintain automated document workflows and BI solutions. You will lead projects, integrate platforms, and ensure rapid access to compliant electronic records.

You will work in a hybrid setup with on-site weekly meetings and occasional in-office collaboration, focusing on SQL Server, Power BI, Laserfiche, and CRM integrations to support agency goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience configuring, maintaining, and integrating tier one applications, databases, and data warehouses (MS SQL Server, Power BI, Crystal Reports, Laserfiche, CRM, SaaS).
• Strong ability to analyze user requirements to design, build, and deploy BI applications.
• Understanding of the full project management lifecycle from inception to execution.
• Ability to provide effective customer service and technical support for IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects implementing and using new BI software tools and systems.
• Integrate BI platforms with existing enterprise systems and applications.
• Develop the semantic layer, metadata, reports, and report definitions.
• Analyze user requirements to design functional specifications.
• Design and deliver end user training while providing ongoing technical support.
• Promote BI benefits and usage across divisions.
• Implement integration plans for electronic records with internal/external portals and repositories.
• Establish policies to ensure electronic records remain secure and compliant.
• Execute records retention and disposal plans for official records.
• Evaluate tools and collaborate with systems experts to support hardware, software, QA.
