Job summary

Medical Mutual is seeking a BI/Data Analytics professional to design and implement analytics solutions supporting healthcare quality, outcomes, and cost efficiency. You will work with Business Analysts to translate requirements into scalable BI capabilities using SQL, Python, and Databricks.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and guidance on data modeling, enterprise data structures, and BI data marts, within a hybrid Brooklyn, OH setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS/IT/Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in data analysis and report design/development.
• Base SAS Certification preferred.
• Familiarity with SAS, SQL Server, Office, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Understanding of relational databases and query tools.
• Healthcare industry familiarity preferred.
• Advanced SAS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transform business requirements into BI solutions delivering reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Evaluate requirements for BI reporting and analytics deployment.
• Lead analytics development by writing and productionizing SQL, Python, and other code (Databricks).
• Provide technical guidance on approaches to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to understand data needs and remedy discrepancies.
• Contribute to test plan reviews and UAT support.
• Create and maintain design/technical documentation for deliverables.
