Job summary

Novo Building Products is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst for its Zeeland, MI location. The role is hybrid with 2-3 days in the office, focusing on turning raw data into actionable insights and driving strategic decisions.

You will design data models and Power BI dashboards, work with stakeholders, and deliver timely, business-friendly metrics and reports. The team emphasizes data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI including data modeling, measures and visualizations.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency with SQL, PostgreSQL and Python.
• Experience with data lake and data warehousing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data models and Power BI visualizations.
• Evaluate software capabilities to improve data models and user experience.
• Create systems for quick, strategic decision making and improve tools.
• Identify data pipeline improvements and document best practices.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, ad hoc analyses and data extracts.
