Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant to provide direct patient care and support integrated behavioral health with primary care. The role requires CA licensure options (psychology or social work/counseling) and includes a signing bonus.

Formación

• Doctorate degree in psychology with a CA license or Master’s in social work with CA LCSW or Master’s in counseling with CA LPCC.
• Current BLS certification required upon hire and maintained as a condition of employment.
• Two years of pre/post licensure psychotherapy experience with children, adults, and/or adolescents, required.
• Experience providing health psychotherapy services (e.g., smoking cessation, weight management, stress management).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care with short term targeted psychotherapy.
• Performs initial and ongoing behavioral health assessments to develop care plans.
• Collaborates with primary care providers to integrate care models.
• Conducts crisis management and psychoeducation.
• Maintains documentation and adheres to BHC protocols.
• Participates in case conferences and trainings.
