Job summary

Symphony ABA is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our hybrid team. The BCBA will assess and develop behavior intervention plans for individuals, especially children with developmental disabilities, working closely with families, educators, and professionals to implement effective strategies that improve lives.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating data-driven plans, and monitoring progress while ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification is required.
• Virginia LBA licensure required.
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities or special education needs.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA-compliant medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
• Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress regularly.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
