Job summary

Community Autism Services (CAS) is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a hybrid school-home role in the San Luis Obispo area. You will design and supervise ABA services across school and home settings, partnering with families, school teams, and clinicians to support student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
• Current BCBA certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 2+ years ABA experience.
• Experience conducting FBAs and writing BIPs; supervising staff.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
• Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop data-driven BIPs.
• Deliver ABA services across school, home, and limited center or remote settings.
• Utilize Vineland-3 and other assessments as appropriate.
• Supervise and support RBTs and Behavior Technicians.
• Coach caregivers, teachers, and support staff on evidence-based strategies.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and attend meetings as appropriate.
• Monitor data and adjust programming based on outcomes.
• Provide caregiver and staff training to promote skill generalization.
• Implement proactive behavior support and crisis prevention strategies.
• Provide in-the-moment guidance during behavioral escalation.
• Support Associate Clinical Supervisors in some regions.
