Job summary

Symphony ABA in Virginia is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join with a hybrid work arrangement. You will assess and develop behavior intervention plans for children with developmental disabilities, working closely with families, educators, and professionals to implement effective strategies that improve quality of life.

You will conduct assessments, create data-driven plans, monitor progress, and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification is required.
• Virginia LBA required.
• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or special education needs.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and medical documentation.
• Proficient in data collection and analysis for behavioral interventions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
• Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress regularly.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities within educational and community settings.
