Qualifications

• BCBA certification is required.
• Virginia LBA licensure is required.
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities or special education needs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and medical documentation practices.
• Proficient in data collection methods and analysis for behavioral interventions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong teamwork.
• Compassionate and patient approach in interactions.
• Diagnostic evaluation experience preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral needs.
• Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on data analysis.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress regularly.
• Collaborate with families, educators and stakeholders for consistency.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and records.
• Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management.
