Job summary

Symphony ABA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in a hybrid role. The BCBA will assess and develop behavior intervention plans for individuals, particularly children, and will work closely with families, educators, and professionals to implement effective strategies.

Requirements include BCBA certification and Virginia LBA, experience with developmental disabilities, HIPAA-compliant documentation, and strong data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
• Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress regularly.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
• Advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met within educational and community settings.
