Job summary

Vantage Consulting in New York is seeking a Building Automation Engineer to support BAS projects across the New York Metro area and Northern New Jersey. The role focuses on energy-efficient, multi-vendor control environments using Honeywell systems and Tridium Niagara N4 platforms.

The candidate will program, commission, and troubleshoot systems, develop graphics for the Tridium front end, and collaborate with facility managers to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (a plus).
• Strong knowledge of central plants, chiller/boiler, AHUs and VAVs.
• Experience programming and commissioning BAS projects.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and integrate new and legacy systems into a single platform.
• Develop and program graphics for the Tridium front end.
• Lead installation and engineering of advanced HVAC control strategies and network architectures.
• Program and commission BAS projects across new construction and retrofit environments.
• Collaborate with facility managers and customers for seamless system operation.
• Direct field commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of DDC networks.
