Job summary

First Citizens in Charlotte is seeking a Relationship Advisor to manage a Commercial Banking client portfolio. You will lead onboarding with the Relationship Manager and Product Advisor to identify deposit and cash management needs, ensuring complete documentation and KYC where required.

You will also handle client servicing, resolve inquiries, advise on risk mitigation and fraud controls, and work with the team to drive client success and expanded relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of banking/financial services industry or customer service experience.
• Alternative: High School/GED with 5 years of experience in banking/customer service.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding for new commercial clients, coordinating with Relationship Manager and Product Advisor to assess needs.
• Manage client servicing and timely resolution of inquiries, escalating when needed.
• Provide risk guidance on AML/KYC requirements and fraud controls; ensure compliance reviews.
• Support client success through proactive outreach and cross-sell opportunities with the team.
