Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Client Integration AVP to lead onboarding for Banking clients, coordinating with Front Office, KYC, Compliance, Operations, Legal and Credit Risk to ensure a seamless process.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, risk monitoring, and continuous improvement of onboarding performance, with exposure to regulatory requirements and banking products across the Americas. Hybrid/hybrid-remote options are available depending on role and location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years banking & securities products experience including KYC, Regulatory, Legal, and Credit skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working with Front Office and clients.
• Appropriate and confidential handling of client data.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across business and support functions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding management to deliver an optimal onboarding experience.
• Proactively manage the pipeline of onboarding requests through reporting and direct interaction with Front Office and deal teams.
• Coordinate with KYC, Tax, and Legal information to fulfill onboarding requirements.
• Evaluate onboarding requests to understand complexity and dependencies.
• Coordinate and align KYC and other stakeholders, escalating capacity issues as needed.
• Evaluate new product types and implications for onboarding processes.
• Understand policy changes communicated by Compliance and their impact on onboarding.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding coordination for banking clients.
• Produce Metrics and support documentation as needed.
• Assist in Audit requests and address regulatory issues as directed by Head of Client Integration.
