The role combines teller responsibilities with financial service representative duties, focusing on accurate transactions and friendly service. The ideal candidate has cash handling and sales experience, strong interpersonal and computer skills, and English proficiency.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling, sales, customer service. Previous banking experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills, good computer skills, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsabilidades

• Serves customers quickly, accurately, efficiently, and confidentially according to the South State Bank Service Standards.
• Knows and understand the products and services offered by the Bank.
• Identify customer needs and expand relationships by referring for additional services as appropriate.
• Opens new deposit accounts and handles other services within assigned limits.
• Processes transactions for savings, checking, and loan accounts.
• Balances transactions daily and maintains a neat work area.
• May train new tellers and assist with vault/back-up vault duties.
• Follow policies and procedures to minimize errors and maintain proper workflow and security.
