Method Communications, a global PR and marketing partner for challenger brands, is seeking a Public Relations Associate for a hybrid role in Boston. You will support multiple client accounts, shadow senior team members, and help with media outreach, research, and content creation.

The role emphasizes developing account management skills, client service excellence, and collaboration across the agency. Flexible, hybrid work and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 12+ months agency and/or in-house communications or marketing experience
• Interest in pursuing a career in technology-focused public relations
• Familiarity with Google Drive and Google’s suite of tools (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
• Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
• Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
• Intermediate written, visual and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for JAE, AEs and SAEs across all client accounts
• Execute and demonstrate Method’s Concierge Service Delivery Approach to clients and teams
• Understand key client information including business strategy, industry issues, products and services
• Research, outline, write, edit and proofread materials (media briefings, pitches, bios, reports, fact sheets)
• Manage deadlines and oversee client speaking and awards trackers
• Monitor reporter and publications to provide media trend insights
• Create coverage reports, briefing documents, media pitches and contribute to pitching
• Coordinate projects and events (media invites, press kits, events, reports)
• Build a network of traditional and online media contacts
• Record and submit time and expenses on a timely basis
• Mentor graduate associates, guide their goals and performance
