Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Solutions Architect in Alpharetta, GA. The role is a mid-level, hands-on contributor responsible for designing and implementing solutions across a hybrid IT environment, including Azure, on-prem, identity platforms, and ERP systems.

The ideal candidate will deploy, automate, and integrate systems, focusing 70% on hands-on implementation and 30% on design. This role reports to the infrastructure leader and requires strong engineering and architectural capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of infrastructure/cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and networking fundamentals.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell preferred).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).
• Experience supporting or integrating with enterprise applications or ERP systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design and build hybrid solutions across Azure and on-prem environments.
• Deploy and configure Azure services (compute, networking, storage, identity).
• Implement secure hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute).
• Support Azure and on-prem environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and migrations.
• Optimize systems for performance, reliability and cost.
• Implement and support Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID with RBAC/MFA.
• Integrate identity with enterprise and ERP applications.
• Support ERP and application integrations and data flows with Azure services.
• Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM or Bicep and scripts.
