Piper Companies is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing financial services organization in Bethesda, MD. This hybrid role requires 4 days onsite per week in Bethesda and focuses on building and modernizing secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for cloud-native and serverless transitions.

Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure infrastructure; implementing IaC with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM; and building secure networking (VNets, Private Link,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure production experience.
• Proven IaC experience.
• Experience with Azure networking (VNets, Private Link, Private Endpoints).
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity in Azure.
• Experience with PaaS and serverless architectures.
• Strong Azure security and identity knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure for enterprise apps.
• Develop IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM.
• Design secure Azure networking and connectivity.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Modernize legacy infrastructure toward serverless and PaaS.
• Support a new Azure subscription for enterprise integrations and API services.
• Collaborate with application, security, and IT teams on cloud architecture.
