Job summary

Cullerton Group is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer 3 to support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD initiatives, and IaC across multiple digital engineering teams in a hybrid schedule with 2 onsite days per week in Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Peoria, IL; or Broomfield, CO. This is a long-term position with potential for permanent employment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of software development experience, including 5+ years in a DevOps role.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• Proficiency with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and YAML CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation templates.
• Experience with AWS AI/MLOps technologies (SageMaker, Bedrock, ECS/EKS, IAM).
• Certifications: AWS Associate or Professional level.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to work independently.
• Excellent communication across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise apps.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML.
• Develop and deploy IaC with AWS CloudFormation.
• Manage AWS IAM, troubleshoot connectivity, and support secure operations.
• Support cloud-based MLOps and AI services (SageMaker, Bedrock, ECS/EKS).
• Collaborate with software teams to streamline builds and deployment.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, app, networking, and cloud issues.
• Perform integration and customer acceptance testing; ensure performance.
• Maintain DevOps best practices for automation, security, scalability.
• Provide production support, including occasional off-shift issues.
