Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Avionics Integration Engineer to support the AFLCMC/HBS/WIW at Tinker AFB, OK, with hybrid work options. Responsibilities span system concepts, DoD directives, and avionics integration across lifecycle stages.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a related bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of DoD experience or 7+ years in related work, and an active Secret clearance. Strong collaboration and technical documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 3 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, or 7 years of directly related experience, 5 in the DoW.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory assistance in developing system concepts and trade‑off studies.
• Apply DoDD 5000.1/5000.2R policies and AFMC AFLCMC guidelines to engineering tasks.
• Support avionics integration for aircraft research, development, production, and lifecycle activities.
• Interface with DoD, government labs, industry and universities.
• Draft documentation for reviews, performance requirements, and system integration studies.
• Ensure airworthiness, safety, and program protection processes are followed.
