Job summary

Marelli is seeking an experienced System Architect to define and model the architecture for automotive displays, clusters, body control and telematics. You will drive HW/SW perimeter decisions, collaborate with hardware, software, and program management teams, and ensure scalable, safe, and maintainable architectures across multiple ECU domains.

You will benchmark technologies, map requirements, and guide the technical aspects of customer engagements while aligning with Marelli’s global mobility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of embedded product development experience in automotive ECU programs.
• Strong knowledge of embedded C/C++, RTOS, and microcontroller-based development.
• Experience with operating systems (OSEK, AUTOSAR).
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, SPI, Ethernet, UDS, LVDS.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain ECU system architecture using modeling tools and best practices.
• Coordinate generation of Technical Dossier for offers.
• Ensure modular, scalable architecture for performance and safety.
• Lead design reviews and monitor technology trends.
• Map System Requirements to Software and Hardware blocks.
• Support customer meetings and program management in technical discussions.
• Provide governance on implementation options for software teams.
• Support Functional Safety concepts and requirements definitions.
• Define BOM and End-Of-Line configuration files.
• Lead System FMEA activities in early project phases.
