Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Performance Engineer to optimize vehicle performance through design, testing, and analysis. The role blends on-site collaboration with remote flexibility, offering exciting projects and growth in a dynamic team.

You will apply powertrain and chassis tuning, leverage MATLAB/Simulink and ANSYS, and work with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets while contributing to cutting-edge automotive solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering required.
Proven automotive performance engineering experience, including powertrain or chassis tuning.
Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics and thermodynamics.
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, and data acquisition systems.
Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

Design and implement performance improvement strategies for powertrains and chassis systems.
Conduct testing and data acquisition in simulated and real-world conditions.
Analyze results to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to meet performance targets.
Develop technical documentation and present findings.
