TC Energy seeks an Automation Engineer/Technologist to support the safe, reliable operation of compressor-station control systems across multiple U.S. locations.

You will diagnose issues, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with field operations to ensure continuous uptime. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of related experience, with strong PLC/HMI expertise, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and control narratives.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical program.
• Six or more years of related experience.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC and HMI platforms.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, control narratives, and diagrams.

Mansioni

• Provide direct technical support to field operations for automation, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Diagnose control-system malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and data-acquisition systems.
• Support maintenance, calibration, repair, and lifecycle management of control-system components.
• Review applications and configurations to improve reliability and performance.
• Coordinate changes per change-management procedures and documentation.
