TC Energy Corp. is seeking an Automation Engineer or Technologist to support safe, reliable operation of control systems at compressor stations and related facilities.

The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automation and control systems, with collaboration across field operations to diagnose issues and implement corrective actions. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, networks, data acquisition, and instrumentation, providing guidance and managing changes in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related diploma.
• Six or more years of related experience in automation and control systems.
• Experience maintaining and Troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, automation and control systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, control narratives, diagrams, and manuals.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct technical support to field operations for automation and control systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, networks, data acquisition, and instrumentation.
• Support calibration, repair, and lifecycle management of control components.
• Review applications and configurations to improve reliability.
• Coordinate software, configuration, and control logic changes per change-management.
• Monitor performance and identify reliability risks and improvements.
• Provide technical guidance for compressor-station control systems.
