The role blends audit, tax, and accounting engagements in a hybrid work environment. You will contribute to on-boarding new audit clients, perform fieldwork, and prepare workpapers while leveraging Thomson Reuters Engagement, QuickBooks, and UltraTax.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, and/or tax.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and audit procedures.
• CPA or EA credential is a strong plus; pursuing licensure encouraged.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters Engagement, QuickBooks, and UltraTax.
• IFRS experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Mansioni

• Support onboarding for new audit clients, ensuring a smooth transition and clear setup of audit workflows and documentation.
• Participate in day-to-day audit engagement tasks, including risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, workpaper preparation, and completion of audit programs.
• Use Thomson Reuters Engagement to complete audit workpapers, reporting, and compliance-related tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and other audit documentation in line with professional standards.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of risk that may require further audit attention.
• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses using UltraTax, particularly outside of peak audit season.
• Support bookkeeping and financial reporting for clients using QuickBooks.
• Assist with U.S. federal and state compliance requirements related to client engagements, including year-end reporting and filing support.
• Research auditing, accounting, and tax questions to provide practical solutions and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Work across audit, tax, and accounting engagements throughout the year. This is a hybrid role by design, with audit as the primary focus.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support accounting, advisory, payroll, or operations teams during off-peak periods or as business needs arise.
• Contribute to special projects and financial report preparation as needed.
