Zusammenfassung

Manay CPA, a global accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Auditor/Accountant to support onboarding for audit clients and participate in end-to-end audit and tax engagements. You will use Thomson Reuters Engagement and UltraTax for compliance work, and provide cross-functional support across audit, tax, and accounting teams.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, public accounting background, and CPA/EA pathway.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, and/or tax.
• Comfortable working across audit, tax, and accounting engagements.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and audit procedures.
• Public accounting or external audit experience is a big plus.
• CPA or EA credential is a strong plus; pursuing CPA encouraged.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters Engagement, QuickBooks, and UltraTax is a plus.
• IFRS experience is a nice to have.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

• Support onboarding process for new audit clients, ensuring a smooth setup of audit workflows and documentation.
• Participate in day-to-day audit tasks: risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, workpaper prep, and audit programs.
• Use Thomson Reuters Engagement to complete audit workpapers, reporting, and compliance tasks.
• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and other audit documentation.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to verify financial statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and risks requiring attention.
• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses using UltraTax.
• Support bookkeeping and financial reporting for clients using QuickBooks.
• Assist with US federal and state compliance related to engagements, including year-end reporting.
• Research auditing, accounting, and tax questions to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate across audit, tax, and accounting engagements throughout the year; hybrid role.
• Support other teams during off-peak periods as needed.
• Contribute to special projects and financial report preparation.
