Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Senior Auditor for our Chandler, AZ area office on a hybrid schedule. The role leads client audits, reviews, and compilations, mentors staff, and collaborates on process improvements to deliver superior service.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Accounting (Masters a plus), 2–4 years in public accounting, and a CPA or CPA candidacy. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of public accounting audit experience required.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead client audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning to completion.
• Build relationships with clients by gathering information and recommending improvements.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates on audit processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of GAAP and financial statement presentation.
• Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues.
• Acquire working knowledge of clients’ businesses and perform additional services as needed.
