Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least five years of public accounting experience.
• CPA certification.
• Experience serving clients in the construction and/or retail industries.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships while leading audit, consulting and compliance engagements.
• Apply knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards to help clients address complex business needs.
• Lead the development of effective audit approaches using applicable standards and firm methodology.
• Manage engagement workflow, timelines and team resources to support high-quality client service.
• Collaborate with other practice areas to bring industry insight and a coordinated service approach to clients.
• Monitor engagement profitability and support billing analysis for assigned engagements.
• Use strong analytical skills and accounting software knowledge to evaluate information and communicate insights.
• Coach, mentor and motivate team members through feedback, career guidance and day-to-day leadership.
• Represent the firm and grow your professional network through community events, industry organizations and relationship-building opportunities.
