Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an Audit Engagement Manager to join the Global Investment and Financial Audit Services (GIFAS) team. You will oversee risk-based audit and consulting engagements across the Investment Lifecycle, collaborating with partners to improve control environments.

The role requires strong project management, communication, and leadership, with experience in asset management, capital markets, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of related work experience, preferably in financial services (asset management or banking).
• Strong foundation in asset management, capital markets, and regulatory compliance.
• CIA, CPA, CFA, or FRM preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of audit and consulting engagements and ensure timely, high-quality work and value-add recommendations.
• Assist in developing engagement objectives, outline scope, assess risk, and analyze data to identify root causes.
• Communicate status and results to management and influence action on recommendations to strengthen controls.
