Eide Bailly in Bismarck, ND seeks an experienced assurance professional to lead client engagements, perform audits, and prepare financial statements.

You will mentor staff, collaborate across teams, and help clients strengthen internal controls while pursuing CPA licensure. Responsibilities include planning engagements, managing timelines, reviewing workpapers, analyzing balances, and communicating findings. A 2–4 year background and CPA progress are preferred; hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 2–4 years of assurance experience required.
• CPA license or working toward CPA license preferred.
• Well‑rounded knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suites.

Responsibilities

• Initiates client engagements, sets timelines and objectives.
• Performs audit, review, or compilation procedures.
• Plans and conducts all phases of engagements including workpapers and reports.
• Analyzes and prepares trial balances and audit reports.
• Reconciles accounting information to control accounts.
• Conducts fraud interviews as needed.
• Reviews staff work and drafts financial statements.
• Provides financial analysis to improve client controls.
• Trains staff and delegates tasks.
• Field work at client locations as necessary.
• Networks to attract new clients and business.
• Attends training and professional development events.
