Job summary

EisnerAmper, a leading accounting and advisory firm, seeks an Assurance Intern in the Elgin area to gain hands-on experience with client engagements and financial statement examinations. You will work with the assurance team on both public and private engagements and prepare for CPA licensure.

The Winter Internship Program starts in January 2027 and offers a hybrid work setting, with 40+ hours per week during standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Pursuing accounting degree (Bachelors/Masters) from an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing CPA licensure in the state of the assigned office location.
• Pursuing 150 academic credits or master's in accounting, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed verification procedures for examinations of client financial statements (public and private).
• Collaborate with the Assurance team to support internship activities during business hours.
• Support the Winter Internship Program starting in January 2027.
