Job summary

CellCarta is seeking an Associate Project Manager in Lake Forest, CA. You will support multiple projects, help PMs meet objectives on time and within budget, and participate in client calls to relay updates.

You will shadow experienced PMs on study planning, data transfers, and invoicing while learning project management methodologies. A bachelor’s degree is required, with 1–3 years in PM and CRO environments as assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of project management experience is an asset.
• 1–3 years working in a CRO environment is an asset.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel with conditional formatting, formulas, and large dataset handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study execution lifecycle planning with Senior PMs for (pre-)clinical trials from award initiation to closeout.
• Coordinate lab operations, QA, and sample/testing schedules to ensure compliant workflows.
• Support scope changes and liaise with client services and scientific writing teams.
• Deliver timely project updates to sponsor teams and ensure accurate reporting and invoicing.
