Job summary

Denver Wellness Associates, a Denver-based mental health practice, seeks an Associate Therapist (LSW, LPCC, or LMFTC) to join a collaborative team providing outpatient care. You will conduct evaluations, develop focused treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, couples, and group therapies using CBT/DBT and related modalities.

The role involves working with diverse clients, including those with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use, with supervision and ongoing licensure support.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Active, unrestricted associate license: LSW, LPCC, or LMFTC in Colorado.
• Experience with CBT/DBT and evidence-based practices.
• Ability to provide therapy independently and work within HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals and develop customized treatment plans.
• Provide counseling/talk therapy per professional standards.
• Formulate differential diagnoses and short/long-term counseling plans.
• Coordinate with medical director and other providers on complex cases.
• Document counseling sessions, assessments, and interventions.
• Conduct group counseling using CBT and monitor plan of care.
