The Partners Group in Portland, OR offers a hybrid Associate Financial Analyst role on the Accounting & Finance team. You will transform financial and operational data into insights that guide budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis, directly impacting decision-making and service delivery to clients and partners.

The ideal candidate has a finance/business analytics background with strong Excel, problem-solving, and communication skills, plus up-to-date GAAP knowledge and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business analytics, accounting, or related field.
• 0-2+ years of professional experience in finance, financial analysis, or accounting.
• Demonstrated advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, data modeling, and reporting analysis).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to organize large datasets and identify insights.

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance leadership and stakeholders to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial and sales reports to support decision-making.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for visibility into company performance.
• Audit financial data and reporting outputs for accuracy and consistency.
• Research business questions and perform analyses to support strategic initiatives.
