Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in the United States seeks an Associate Director, Safety Analysis Scientist to lead safety evaluations, partner with MSO and SMT teams, and guide cross-functional safety activities. This hybrid role requires on-site presence three days per week in NJ/PA locations.

You will oversee data reviews, safety analyses, and regulatory document input while mentoring junior staff and maintaining high-quality deliverables across global teams.

Qualifications

• Medical writing or PV (Pharmacovigilance) experience required.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex medical data from diverse disciplines.
• Ability to lead in a matrix environment and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety evaluations including strategy discussions and data analysis.
• Ensure high-quality safety evaluations and reports with minimal revisions.
• Provide input and review of regulatory or clinical documents as appropriate.
• Lead proactive safety data reviews and safety signal tracking.
• Mentor and train team members on complex reports.
