Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties has a full-time opportunity for an Associate Director of Purchasing in Anaheim, CA. This is a hybrid role (3 days on-site / 2 days remote) and offers a chance to lead all purchasing functions across the affiliate.

You will oversee daily operations, inventory control, vendor relationships, and financial reconciliation, while shaping purchasing policies, procedures, and strategic sourcing to achieve cost savings and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Excel and data analysis for inventory and cost reporting.
• Experience leading purchasing teams and driving cost savings across categories.
• APICS/CPIM/CPSM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and train the purchasing department across categories including medical supplies, equipment, and services.
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Procurement Manager on sourcing roadmap and bid opportunities.
