Job summary

You will mentor department liaisons, refine policy efficiency, and coordinate allocation plans for large budgets while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy across UCLA's financial systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of accounting, budget or related financial experience.
• Budgetary analysis with ability to assess financial information and propose solutions.
• Experience in ledger reconciliation, expenditure monitoring and projection.
• Strong understanding of internal control practices and resource protection.
• Ability to present complex financial information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Experience with UCLA's financial systems and purchasing policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the division's budget and finance liaison within External Affairs.
• Develop, interpret, and implement multi-year financial planning models.
• Prepare reports and forecasts for leadership and campus partners.
