Job summary

The North Face in Denver is seeking an Associate Developer for Equipment & Accessories to help bring bags, backpacks and related gear from concept to market. You will collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and Development teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.

In this hybrid role based at our Denver HQ, you’ll manage specs and BOMs in Flex PLM, participate in prototype reviews, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining sample organization and project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a design/product field.
  • 1–2 years of apparel, equipment, or accessories product development experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of fit, patternmaking, grading, and product construction.
  • Strong communication with global cross-functional and vendor partners.
  • Understanding of development, sourcing and manufacturing processes for equipment and accessories.
  • Strong organization to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Experience with BOMs, specs and tech packs; Flex PLM knowledge a plus.
  • Familiarity with 3D tools like Browzwear, CLO or Optitex is a plus.
  • Adaptable, agile and fast-paced environment comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of low-complexity equipment and accessories styles from concept to buy-ready handoff.
  • Manage BOMs, specs and style information in Flex PLM with accuracy.
  • Contribute to special projects and maintain development timelines and deliverables.
  • Assist with prototype reviews, document feedback, and support product refinement.
  • Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and Development partners to support product execution.
  • Communicate clear development updates and elevate risks to maintain momentum.
  • Participate in process improvements and team initiatives.
  • Prioritize workload against calendar milestones and communicate needs.
  • Maintain sample organization and storage to support efficient development.
